Friday practice:
Obviously no BAR presence as a result of their 2-race ban.
Heidfeld will be penalised 10-places on the grid for an engine change and Williams teammate Webber missed all of Friday practice due to engine problems.
Pedro de la Rosa (McLaren) was fastest in both the first practice session (1:15.675) and the second (1:15.062).
Montoya, back after his “tennis injury”, had a big off that destroyed his McLaren, which means a 10-place penalty for him too.
