The good news – no change to the results of the Monaco Grand Prix.

  • As previously noted, there’s only the one qualifying session from now on. [FIA announcement]
  • BAR are back (yay!) “Formula One’s governing body has ruled out any further action against BAR, who return after a two-race suspension at Sunday’s European Grand Prix.” [BBC]
  • However, “BAR-Honda have been told that they will not be able to change the engines in their cars without incurring a penalty at this weekend’s European Grand Prix.” [TSN]
  • Jacques Villeneuve has said sorry to team-mate Felipe Massa for the incident that ended their Monaco GP hopes. [BBC]
  • Red Bull have allowed Vitantonio Liuzzi to keep his seat in the team’s second car for the European Grand Prix at Germany’s Nurburgring on 29 May. [BBC]
  • Michael and Ralf Schumacher have called a truce in the war of words that followed a controversial incident at the Monaco Grand Prix. Ralf Schumacher accused his brother of “crazy” driving after a last-gasp overtaking manoeuvre in Monte Carlo. [BBC]
