CSSreboot
I discovered CSSreboot a few hours ago, so I signed up and I’m tweaking the layout some more – I had worked on it a bit on Friday but I’ve not had a chance over the weekend. I’ve forked a new style template off that one (“Hobson”) and created “CSSreboot”.
I’ve checked that the basic blog template is valid XHTML 1.0 (the blog entries frequently aren’t though, but you can check by validating just the “announcements” category) and the stylesheet validates without even a warning.
Hey, I did post in my (one line) CSSreboot profile – it’s “function over form” for me, so I’m happy if the code is clean … now I can fiddle with the style a bit.
OK, who can’t tell what day it is? (Answer: me!) I thought Monday was November 1st, so I’ve been working on my CSS redesign … except I’ve got until Monday night … and so, with that, I’m off to bed.
Update: Monday came and went without me having any time to work on my CSSreboot theme, so here is the incomplete effort. (It’s now the default style; if you still see the one with a green background, find the Themes selector (about a quarter of the way down the page) and select CSSReboot.) I’m not sure what more I would change, but it’s still pretty similar to the Kubrick theme which is the basis for so many WordPress themes.
Plug & Pray :)
I can’t remember how I found Plug-Pray.org because I’ve kept it in an open window (in Opera) for a few days now. Anyway, here’s a screenshot:

More GoogleMap goodness @ Frappr!
After posting about the Opera browser users’ map, I discovered it’s really easy to create your own, so now there’s a Frappr! map for the Henman “clan” – if your surname is (or you’re related to) Henman, then come and put a mark on the map!
