NabaztagNabaztag” is (apparently) “a newborn bunny, one of a unique species of intelligent, smart objects.”

Thanks to me, your friends and family will have a totally new way of keeping in touch: through the web, text messages, their phone or email… plenty of different ways to send you messages, music, MP3 files that I’ll read out to you… or sing out, or even dance. Your friends will no longer be confined to the depths of your computer or phone: they’ll come alive in your home, in the noble guise of a rabbit.

It looks like fun, but it appears that it’s only available in France.

Even more amusing though is from LinuxWorld (Australia): “It’s unofficial: Microsoft bets business on Linux“:

Earlier this year Microsoft and Aruba Networks jointly announced the two companies will work to replace Microsoft’s existing Cisco wireless network with Aruba’s centrally-managed infrastructure, which eliminates the need for individual changes on the access points.

What the press statement didn’t mention is that Aruba mobility controllers run the Linux operating system which Microsoft has aggressively targeted as being inferior to Windows as part of its “Get the Facts” marketing campaign.
