Candid Camera, McDonald’s style

If you’ve ever wondered about the intelligence of some of the staff in fast food places, you’ve got to read this: a post that describes how McDonald’s staff in Mount Washington, Kentucky, actually believed someone on the telephone was a police officer and followed his orders, humiliating a 17-year-old female employee. But if you think that it’s far-fetched, there’s even a link to the story on ABC’s website which includes in-store surveillance footage showing the automatons’ actions.

It’s amazing that they could be fooled so easily, following the caller’s instructions for three hours, but there are reports of “more than 70 cases of hoax phone calls to fast food restaurants, dating as far back as 1994″.

Wow!

  2. Ironic they could follow instructions from some joker for three hours and they still can’t make my burger right!
