Cool Site of the Day
What a con! I thought Cool Site of the Day was a real pick of “look what we found”, but it isn’t. 
“Find out how to become the Cool Site of the Day” takes you to a Submit page (fair enough) but once you enter your email address [must remember to blacklist it!] you’re taken to another with two options: sign up for something you don’t want (like “freeipods.com” etc.) or PAY THEM $27. Wow!
Maybe it used to be free and now they’re trying to make a living off the site, or maybe it’s never been free and I’ve just not noticed before.
Either way, I won’t be checking out the Cool Site of the Day in future.
