Procrastination cost me (another) $30
We moved to our current home about two years ago … and I just got a reminder email from Canada Post (whose website fails to load with Opera – that’s some sucky code!) that our snailmail forwarding is going to expire in a few days, so I’ve extended it for another six months … yeah, it’ll be 30 months of redirection … and that’s assuming I finally get around to letting my UK bank, building society, pension plan and so on know that we’ve moved! If I could do it online I’d have done this at the time we moved, but actually writing a short letter just seems like such a pain.
Yeah, I know. :p

It’s silly that one can’t change one’s address online – I wouldn’t do business with these people
They’ve been my bank / building society / whatever for many, many years. The bank (atleast) would allow me to change it online if I apply for an online banking password … which they will only send to a UK address … or over the phone, for which I need to use their call-back authentication thingy … which only works with UK numbers.
Guess I need to make a special trip back to England.
