Alonso will join McLaren in 2007

So the big (motor racing) news of the morning is that Alonso will join McLaren in 2007.

There have been rumours of Kimi Raikkonen going to Ferrari in 2007, and of Michael Schumacher retiring / going to McLaren / going to Red Bull when his contract expires at the end of 2006.

The 2007 “silly season” has started and it’s still 2005!
