Toronto shooting
Five people were injured and one killed at a drive-by shooting in downtown Toronto today! Two people are in custody having been stopped by police at Castle Frank subway station.
The first shots were apparently fired around 5:30 p.m. from a vehicle driving north on Yonge St. near Gerrard St., severely wounding one woman in the head. She was in the doorway of a Foot Locker store.
Police received calls within minutes about other shooting victims including one in the Delta Chelsea hotel, one at a Pizza Pizza near Yonge and Gould St., a second person in the doorway of the Foot Locker and one at a Red Lobster restaurant.

So the shootings weren’t in just one place – it looks like the they may have been targetting specific people, although there’s no guarantee that the people they hit were the intended victims.

This morning’s news have updated the info: 6 wounded & 1 dead. 2 in custody and searching for up to 4 more.
