A challenging day

  • Kerri’s dad is going in for surgery today – in fact he’s there already – so today’s going to be a tough day for everyone. In a strange coincidence, Kerri’s godfather (who was a Mountie with her dad) is also in surgery today (in Alberta though) for the same treatment!
    Update: 11 hours of surgery later(!!) he’s in recovery. :)
  • Late last night a tap broke, so we turned the water off. The landlord is trying to arrange a plumber and is coming over today.
    Update: The landlord has fixed it.
  • My biggest challenge today is finishing off the Fedora (operating system) upgrade of the server.
    Update: The least important of the three, but it’s still not finished. It’s almost there … just the photo gallery to fix.
