Top 2 Tuesday (2006.06)

Top two house problems:

  1. There’s air in the water pipes, I think – it started about 5am today – a constant, low horn-like drone that stops when I turn a tap on and starts a moment or two after turning it off
  2. We had a lot of rain at the weekend and the basement bathroom ended up with a large puddle. I thought it was water seeping up through the floor but Kerri told me this evening that it’s actually eminating from a corner behind the sink. (It’s only when it rains, so it’s not a problem with the sink per se.)

Called the landlord and called Toronto water today, and neither seems to know the cause(s) or how to fix them. Ugh.

    2. We ran the washing machine last night and it seems to have cleared the noise … touch wood! :)
