Malaysian Grand Prix schedule
Just a week after the Grand Prix of Bahrain, it’s time for the GP of Malaysia.
| Day | Circuit time | My local time (EST) | Event |
| Friday 17 March | 11:00-12:00 | 2200-2300 (Thursday) | Friday Practice 1 |
| 14:00-15:00 | 0100-0200 | Friday Practice 2 | |
| Saturday 18 March | 11:00-12:00 | 2200-2300 (Friday) | Saturday Practice |
| 14:00-15:00 | 0100-0200 | Qualifying | |
| Sunday 19 March | 15:00-17:00 | 0200-0400 | Race |
I thought 6am was bad, but a 2am race means I definitely will be recording it and watching it later.

BBC F1 News reports that “Felipe Massa will lose 10 places on the grid for the Malaysian Grand Prix after his Ferrari’s engine was replaced.” (Wow, not Kimi? … yet?)
“Jacques Villeneuve (BMW Sauber), David Coulthard (Red Bull) and Giancarlo Fisichella will also have new engines and be penalised in Malaysia.” (JV & GF both withdrew from the previous race in Bahrain; DC finished 10th.) … Hold on, because JV & GF didn’t finish the race, they won’t be penalised – BBC have got it wrong, haven’t they?
