Mostly good news

I had a second interview a couple of days ago – I met with them last week and they called me back almost straight away, which is promising. I think this interview went pretty well too, and they said they’ll get back to me by the middle of next week.

I’ve got an interview on Friday with a software company, and I’ve still got about six agencies/companies to follow up regarding new possibilites, as well as a few to follow up to see what’s happening with my application. Things are finally picking up.

After the less-than-wonderful experience with seeing a “doctor” about my toe nail, I saw my real doctor today. He agreed with me that I should leave what’s left alone and it’ll grow out in its own time. The best news is that he gave me the OK to continue playing badminton – I was worried that I may do more damage, but he told me to carry on and just avoid dropping anything on my now nailless toe :)

Unfortunately my doctor said that my elbow pain is tennis elbow, which means the best thing for it is rest … which isn’t going to happen until the end of this (badminton) season. He also said I should wear the elbow brace when I’m on the PC, because that’s adding to the strain on it. Well, I’ll give it a go and see.
