The much anticipated (?) return of Top 2 Tuesday (2006.22)
Has anyone noticed the last Top 2 Tuesday post was 9 weeks ago? It listed the Top 2 things I’d like for my birthday (a job and a Lamborghini) … and we now know I got one of them! [Vroom, vroom!]
I thought I’d get back into the swing of things with my Top 2 Gripes About Toronto (1. the humidity, 2. TTC strikes) but I decided that was too negative, so here are my Top 2 things I enjoy about my new Lamborghini job:
- it’s challenging – I’m learning a lot of new & interesting stuff
- the people are great – friendly, helpful & knowledgeable

There is no TTC service today.
Most news services are calling it an illegal strike organised by the Amalgamated Transit Workers Union Local 113 (whose website banner ironically says “We Move Toronto”!).
No matter who/what caused the strike/shut out, I can’t get to work. Thanks.
Fortunately I have VPN access to the office, so I can do 99% of my work from home.
What a pain.
p.s. When will the union send me my refund for the monthly TTC pass which I can’t use today? (It’s not the TTC or the city who owe me a rebate, it’s the union.)
