Time for the teams to concentrate on their cars & drivers, not the spying allegations involving their designers!

Friday practice #1:
LH 1:22.029
LH 1:21.836
FA 1:21.675
KR 1:21.646
LH spins in Luffield
FA cuts across the kitty litter
DC spins and beaches the Red Bull
LH 1:21.100

Friday practice #2:
JB not taking part because his back is playing up again
Rain forecast in about 30mins
RS 1:28.057
NH 1:23.190
FA 1:22.640
LH 1:22.600
KR 1:21.989
KR runs wide in Copse – he’s lucky they’re replaced the gravel with tarmac
Close-up of a Ferrari tyre change – that’s a really odd looking hub on the dry tyres – which team will kick off the legal challenge? :)
JT 1:21.467
FM 1:21.289
KR 1:20.639
30mins down 60mins to go
HK has a nasty moment coming out of Bridge – across the gravel and onto the club circuit before he rejoins the real circuit
45mins left – no sign of rain yet although it’s still fairly overcast
JT touches the gravel and kicks up a lot of dust coming out gravel
30mins left
RB runs across the gravel and takes a moment to find his way back to the circuit
Sutil hits the tyre wall at Copse – looks like he lost control coming into the corner, which is usually taken at ~160mph
AS’ Spyker is lifted away under yellow flags
15mins left
It’s interesting to watch the white line (indicating it’s the option tyre, usually the softest compound) fade in and out as the cars take high speed corners
5mins left
GF over-cooks it into Copse, runs wide and has to really back off to bring the Renault under control again
2mins left and that’s the first sign of a shadow :)
Chequered flag is out
Fastest was KR’s 1:20.639
