Following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, here’s the final points update of the 2009 season:
Drivers’ Championship:
- J Button (Brawn) 95 points = World Champion
- S Vettel (Red Bull) 84
- R Barrichello (Brawn) 77
- M Webber (Red Bull) 69.5
- L Hamilton (McLaren) 49
- K Raikkonen (Ferrari) 48
- N Rosberg (Williams) 34.5
- J Truli (Toyota) 32.5
Constructors’ Championship:
- Brawn – Mercedes 172 points = World Champion
- Red Bull – Renault 153.5
- McLaren – Mercedes 71
- Ferrari 70
- Toyota 59.5
- BMW Sauber 36
- Williams – Toyota 34.5
- Renault 26
- Force India 13
- Toro Rosso – Ferrari 8
So that’s it for this year; all that remains is the seat shuffle in preparation for next year. I posted about “silly season” a month ago but there are still plenty of updates still to come.
