Blog of the Week – 2006.12
In a shameless bit of self-promotion, this week’s BotW is this blog! Yes, I’m making “Paul, Kerri and The Boys” my Blog Of The Week because I’m so happy with the new layout. Hey, it’s my meme so nyah! :p
I promise to get back on track with listing new and interesting websites next week, and you can always leave suggestions. (Previous suggestions.)
Blog of the Week – 2006.11
This week’s discovery is Linked In, “an online network of more than 5 million experienced professionals from around the world, representing 130 industries.” Basically it’s a way to make/maintain professional contacts … it’s not like Friendster!
My favourite site this week, though, was Workopolis – I got seven calls about jobs this week all thanks to my résumé that’s posted there!
OK, they’re not blogs – given that a few recent BotW entries haven’t been, maybe I should rename this Website of the Week?
Blog of the Week – 2006.10
Whoops! It looks like I’ve missed adding a Blog of the Week site for a couple week of weeks.
It’s been (another) busy week and the only blog I’ve really read in depth is LifeHacker … except it was a BotW in January, so I can’t really list it again. Well, OK, I could – it’s my blog and I can do that if I want – but my aim was to introduce a new & interesting blog each week. (Clearly I’ve let the “each week” part of that slide.)
So, for this week, I’ll add Engadget – it’s a fairly high volume geeky gadget site, but I like to think of it more as a constantly updating wish list.
Blog of the Week – 2006.07
It’s official – I have a new hero! I’ve visited viper007bond.com before, seeking out some WordPress plugins, but I’ve discovered that he’s also responsible for FinalGear.com – a website where you (or rather, I) can find bittorrents for episodes of Top Gear and Fifth Gear!
Mmmmm, 7 seasons of Top Gear – I can’t wait for my new hard drive to arrive so I’ll have space to download them!
Blog of the Week – 2006.06
“Did You Know?” is an interesting blog – updated each Saturday, it’s covered some interesting topics such as “How clouds are formed” and some difference between English and American-English.
