Big boys toys
Due for release in October, Covenant plasma rifles … and don’t forget Halo 3 comes out on September 25th. 
I reinstalled my (Windows) games PC a couple of weeks ago and I felt like shooting some aliens this evening so I tried to install Halo … except I can’t find my licence key! 
I know I had the original box because I found part of it – unfortunately I can’t find the rest of the box, the manual or anything other than the CD. I can’t believe I would have thrown the box or manual away if the licence key was on them, so either (the box or the manual) is still around somewhere, or I recorded the key somewhere “safe”.
If all else fails, there’s Black or Halo2 on the Xbox … Aargh! Not Halo2 because the CD’s cracked (as in broken, not hacked!).
It’s sapping the life out of me
I’m stuck at a bug in Half-Life1: in “We’ve Got Hostiles”, I’ve dealt with the soldiers and I head into the lift, but as it starts to rise (and the next sequence loads) it acts like I’m being squashed, and yet there’s nothing above me. Read more »
