It’s an oldie but it’s still true – if you insist on “communicating” through paperwork, this is what happens. Try talking directly; keep talking and demonstrating all the way through development, and you’ll actually give your customer what they want.

  1. It’s true for bloggers, software developers (which is where I’ve used it before) and any environment where people need to listen to their customers – if you’re not truly communicating (i.e. describing your views and listening to your customer’s) on a frequent basis, things will not end well.
