In addition to the regular two Toronto Photowalk events (one of which was TOPW’s anniversary) I joined the Toronto Film Shooters group for a short stroll.
- TOPW: Stock Yards And The Junction
Starting at a bakery with very tasty Portuguese custard tarts (Pastel de Nata) it was hard to drag the group away! The walk roughly followed the train tracks eastward. Some people stopped for cheese and/or sausages, but I saved myself for lunch at the Indie Alehouse 🙂
- Toronto Film Shooters Annex-Yorkville Stroll
A few TOPW digital shooters infiltrated the Toronto Film Shooters group and joined them for a stroll through the Annex and Yorkville. It was good to meet some new photographers, even though much of the conversation at the Rebel House revolved around film processing details that went over my head!
- TOPW: 15th Anniversary
FIFTEEN YEARS! It’s hard to believe the group is still going strong and people keep coming back walk after walk! We had a large turnout (especially consider the weather was starting to cool off) and I don’t think I lost too many people along the way 🙂 Wandering through the Distillery District (which had just started its Winter Village) proved quite a distraction, although Mark, Christine and I were drawn into Old Flame Brewing, right next door to Mill Street.
