- TOPW: Hamilton West Harbour – James Street Jaunt
It’s not often that TOPW explores outside of Toronto (well, it is in our name after all!) so it’s been a while since I’ve been to Hamilton, and I have to say I’m in no rush to return – the only high point for me was ending up at Merit Brewing. (Another photowalk, another brewery – I’m starting to see a trend!)
- TOPW: Waterfront Walk
We had originally planned a picnic to mark our 350th walk, but the forecast called for a lot of rain and high probability of thunderstorms, so we switched to a simple wander along the waterfront and rescheduled the picnic to August 1st. It’s a good thing we did, because the forecast was right – we were soaked! Fortunately Maguro House was OK with us arriving 45 minutes early, and creating a small paddling pool as we all drip-dried while eating lunch. The walk was cut short so after lunch some of us headed down to Ireland Park and Little Norway Park before heading home.
