Photo updates, February 2010
Where did February go? It seemed to be over before it started! I know I was still working on January’s photos almost into the middle of Feb, but I didn’t get out and shoot nearly as much as I expected.
- Robbie Burns – the annual scotch whisky evening with a couple of friends
- Toronto Photo Walks: High Park – another great turnout for TOPW; next one is March 13th

- The Bowes Brothers (from Carleton Place) performed at the Royal York hotel
- Flickr meetup at Rivoli
Don’t forget to check out my most viewed photos (which Flickr calls the “most interesting” set) and the other albums @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/pah57/sets/, as well as my monthly round up posts (look for the “photos” tag).
If you’ve only got time to look at one or two photos, check out my “best of” photoblog @ http://paulsphotos.org/ – I only post one picture per week (sometimes less!), so I try to pick a recent shot that I really like.
And if you’re interested in exploring Toronto with your camera, check out TorontoPhotoWalks.ca (we’re on Flickr and Facebook too!).
Photo updates, January 2010
I managed to catch up with posting my photos during December but my New Year’s Resolutions Goals (and a lot of interviews!) have meant it’s taken me even longer than usual to post my pictures this month. I’ve also been building the Toronto Photo Walks group – we’ve now got over 150 members and we’re getting into the rhythm of going out every three weeks.
So, excuses over, here are some thumbnails from January’s sets:
- An evening out with friends at Duggan’s Brewery
- Toronto Photo Walks: Spadina Ave
- Snowball Workshop: Getting to Know Your Camera + Urban Photo Hunt
- Morris Auction Sales
- Flickr meetup, January 2010
- Tourist wander
- Toronto Photo Walks: The Beach(es)

Top 10 photos of 2009
I’ve done a summary of my photos each month this year (Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec) but I thought I’d round up the year by picking my favourite photos that I’ve taken in 2009. I’ve put 20+ in a set on Flickr but here are my Top 10 Photos from 2009: (click on image to enlarge it)

Let me know which one (of these or any other photo I took in 2009) is your favourite!
